There are 5 ancient and venerable brewpubs in Dusseldorf, old enough that Henrich Heine (highly probable) and Napoleon (highly unlikely) could have had a beer in each. Atlbier is basically only brewed in Dusseldorf, in one of these 5 brewpubs and a couple of industrial breweries. It is defined as “ a style of beer brewed in the Rhineland, especially around the city of Düsseldorf, Germany. It is a copper colored, fruity, clean and crisp tasting, lighter-bodied beer. Its name comes from it being top-fermented, an older method than the bottom fermentation of lager beers.”
For 30-some years, I have always started off my Medica with a Pilgrimage, often referred to locally as a Beer Safari to the 5 brew pubs. This year I would like you to join me, we can compare the various beers, we can get to know our fellow exhibitors, and we can talk about how we plan on expanding our global sales footprint.

As the pubs are crowded, and I have reserved a set number of spaces, all I ask of you is to RSVP, at which time I will send you the meeting place.
